Hi Virginia federationists,

Convention is right around the corner and our Friday evening, July 6 Welcome party is going to be outstanding. But to make things work, we need our members to understand where they need to go.

The concert is being held in a different part of the Rosen Shingle Creek property than we typically use. We are expecting somewhere between 300 and 1,000 people will want to attend so we will need talking sign/marshals to ensure our members know where to go.

We are asking people to work a 90 minute shift and we will have 2 shifts.

Shift 1: 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM

Shift 2: 8:00 Pm to 9:30 PM

The concert is located in the Gatlin Ballroom and uses a different escalator off the rotunda.

We are seeking up to 5 people per 90 minute shift to work as marshals / talking signs.

Please arrive at the wrist band ticket sales table at the beginning of your shift where you will find me and obtain an assignment.

If you are willing to assist us in this fun and important task, please contact me. Please be ready to tell me which shift you are able to work.
