> First of all, I would like to thank you for the opportunity to serve as President of the State NFB Merchant Division. Please accept my apology or not being as prepared as I should have been for the event. The lesson was well taught and I learned very fast from it.

> 1. At last state convention in Portsmouth Va. the merchants had a 50 - 50 raffle and raise $222.00. Half of this went to Becky Morris $111.00

> 2. The National Association of Blind Merchants will have their meeting at 10:15 until 2:15 on Monday February 10, at the Washington Seminar, there will be a working lunch.

> 3. Business Leadership and Superior Training will be held in Chicago, Illinois, the week of April 14 – 17.

> 4. Vendors in Virginia will have their annual meeting on March 12 -13 in Richmond Virginia.
>
> 5. National Automatic Merchandising Association will have their meeting in Nashville, Tennessee in May 11 – 14.
>
> 6. Merchants from Virginia will be in attendance at this year’s NFB convention in Houston Texas with bells on.
>
> 7. The merchants of Virginia will again do the 50 - 50 raffle at the Virginia NFB convention this fall.
