[NFBV-Announce] Reminder: Submit Resolutions

> State convention is almost here and I just wanted to remind you of some deadlines for submitting resolutions, if you would like to help set NFBV policy for the upcoming year.

> If you have an idea for a resolution but need assistance in drafting one, please contact me as soon as possible, no later than Friday October 16, so that we have enough time to draft the resolution before convention. If you would like to submit a drafted resolution, please submit your draft to me by October 23. This allows the members of the Resolutions Committee the opportunity to review the resolutions in advance of the October 30 Resolutions Committee meeting.

> As another reminder, this year, the procedure for speaking on a resolution will be a bit different, since it will be virtual. See below on this procedure:

> Resolutions being recommended to the Convention by the committee will be posted to the web at http://www.nfbv.org/resolutions by 8:00 p.m. EDT or three hours after the committee meeting (whichever is later) on Friday, October 30, 2020.
> Those wishing to speak for or against a resolution on the floor of the Convention must submit their interest in doing so by sending an email to resolutions at nfbv.org by 5:30 p.m. EDT on Saturday, October 31. The email must contain the individual’s full name, chapter name, the number of the resolution they wish to discuss, whether they are for or against the resolution, and a phone number where they can best be reached in case there is an issue with the Zoom platform.
