> Virginia, along with 6 other states, will be implementing the Voting Works/My Ballot electronic ballot delivery system for the November general election so that blind, low-vision, and other voters with print disabilities can mark their absentee ballot privately and independently. The implementation of accessible absentee voting in Virginia is a direct result of the advocacy efforts of the National Federation of the Blind with support from numerous partners.
>
> To help all blind, low vision, and print disabled Virginia voters, we are launching a campaign to explain the following:
> Applying for an Absentee ballot
> Completing the electronic ballot Marking process
> Submitting your ballot
>
> to help print disabled individuals become familiar with the remote electronic ballot marking system, Voting Works has created a demo ballot that members can access and mark the ballot as many times as they wish. The link to the demo ballot and login information are as follows:
>
> https://demo.access.vote/
> First Name: Demo
> Last Name: Voter
> Date of Birth(DoB): 01/01/1980
> Access PIN: 040665
>
> Later this month, in an initiative led by John Halverson and Christine Grassman, we will continue to support the voting process by:
> Providing helpful materials on all steps outlined above;
> Conducting a Virginia specific training session on the process to address questions; and
> Arranging a workshop with Voting Works representatives where individuals can ask questions
>
> We are grateful for the assistance from partners in our lawsuit with Virginia and expect they will also assist with this outreach campaign.
>
> We encourage you to share these details broadly so that everyone in Virginia is prepared to vote in the November election.
> Best regards,
>
