Good evening Greater Alexandria Chapter Members, Family & Friends,


I hope this email finds you all in good health and positive spirits. I do
dream of love and peace and while we are on the journey to a more loving
world, it is more important now than ever for ALL of us to stay united,
committed and most of all, connected to our Greater Alexandria Chapter
family! I invite you to participate in our Greater Alexandria Chapter
Anniversary meeting scheduled for this Thursday, April 22, 2021 promptly at
7PM. Whether this is your first time or you are a returning member, we
welcome and can't wait to see you! However, since it is our Anniversary
meeting, we will be holding Virtual Elections.please see the following
message from Renee Valdez, our Secretary/Treasurer below and ensure you
follow-up with Renee in your renewal/paying for the first time  of chapter
dues in a timely fashion, if you have not done so already. 


* It is Election Time!  In order to be able to vote, we all must be sure to
pay our annual dues  at least TWO DAYS BEFORE the 22nd!  Our annual dues are
$5.00. If you'd like, you can pay the one-time "Lifetime Member" rate of
$100.00 and never have to worry about dues again!  Whichever you choose, it
is preferred that we all pay via our GAC PayPal Account.  This can be done
in two ways:

 

1.  If you have a PayPal account, simply open your account, click on SEND
MONEY (be sure it is to family and friends so we won't be charged the fee),
enter the GAC email address, which is NFBVGAC1 at gmail.com
<mailto:NFBVGAC1 at gmail.com>  and enter the dollar amount. That's it! And,
oh!  Remember to click SEND MONEY!  If you don't mind, please EMAIL (
reneerome at yahoo.com <mailto:reneerome at yahoo.com> " and  let me know you send
in your payment.  I will confirm that I have received it.

 

2.  If you do not have a PayPal account, please EMAIL reneerome at yahoo.com
<mailto:reneerome at yahoo.com>  and let me know that you need me to send you a
PayPal request for payment.  I will send that directly to your email and you
can just click on the link and make your payment that way.

 


3.  If you don't like either of those choices and prefer "old school" --
"Snail Mail"--, just write out a check to:  NFB GAC and the dollar amount
you choose, put it in a stamped envelope and email    reneerome at yahoo.com

I know, this is long, but please hang in here with me a little longer
because after we get our extremely brief business meeting and virtual
elections out of the way on the evening of Thursday, April 22nd, we will be
diving into some energetic programming hosted by Alex Castillo, my fellow
New Yorker, Rehabilitation Specialist for DBVI and most of all, a dear
friend of our Greater Alexandria Chapter! You don't want to miss it. Alex
Castillo has interactive and engaging programming in store for ALL of us.
