Hey NFB Family and Friends,
Happy Holidays! I hope everyone is hanging in and doing alright. This time
of year can be very festive, busy and filled with hope and joy. It can also
be overwhelming, traumatic, and sad. If you're doing good, lend a hand to
someone who isn't. It's all about giving, being grateful and sharing
blessings.

Hilarity at the December 21 Fairfax Chapter Meeting:
Epic fail, Gift-giving or Gift-receiving Edition: Is there a specific gift
you gave or received that turned out to be an epic fail, a disaster, an
embarrassment in some way, shape, or form? Do tell. (We want more than just:
"It was totally inaccessible," or "It fit horribly" or "I already had one."
We want to hear something hilarious, and/or something cringe-worthy.
Something that will bring out our empathy and/or giggles.
Join us via the affiliate Zoom on December 21 at 7:00 PM for this hilarity,
plus holiday-specific and general safety tips for you and your loved ones,
including your pets and dog guides, the planning of the Fairfax Chapter's
in-person New Year's celebration on the afternoon of January 20, and a plan
to dedicate ourselves to improved public transportation options for those
who are unable to drive in and around Fairfax.
Christine Faltz Grassman, Fairfax Chapter President
