Hi friends and family, I wanted to share the news of my new born son, Max Shobert.

He was Born at 2:11pm, on 2/19/2024 (presidents day). He was 10lbs, 21.5 inches.

Mom and baby are healthy and both doing great.

I appreciate everyone’s support during this time.

March is Women’s History Month, but how much do most of us know about the issues facing indigenous women, let alone indigenous women with disabilities?

On March 13, 2024, during the Potomac Chapter meeting, come meet a dynamic panel of indigenous women with disabilities.

Women of color have rarely been highlighted in women’s movements, in documentaries, in literature and movies: and if and when they are, you have to know where to look. 

Do you have specific questions? Please send them to Christine Grassman; she and the panel want to address societal misconceptions, issues important to indigenous women and their nations, and your desire to become better informed.
