Hey future college superstars and current campus crushers!

We've got our Project RISE students locked in. Now we're opening the doors
to all other college students to take part in an exciting opportunity!

Ready to level up your tech game and nail those college courses? We've got
an awesome virtual session coming up that you won't want to miss!

Join us for 90 minutes of straight talk on assistive technology, mainstream
technology, and the best way to get the most out of your gear.

We'll dive into:

. The debate between Windows and Mac and which one makes most sense for your
workflow

. Being low vision and understanding why assistive technology makes sense at
all

. The pros and cons of notetakers and finding the right balance to make you
competitive

. Emergency tactics for when the high tech fails

. The best strategies for convincing your rehab counselor to give you what
you need

. Starting hacks to become a pro at using your tech

. How this all translates to your future professional life

Date: Wednesday, October 16

Time: 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM Eastern

Format: Virtual

Whether you're still in high school dreaming of campus life or already
living it up in college, this session is your pass to understanding, and
maximizing, your technology options.

Project RISE, a Virginia-based Pre-ETS mentoring program, is working in
partnership with the National Association of Blind Students to offer this
