You still have time to submit your question but the door is closing fast.
The deadline is Tuesday, October 15.
As the Car Talk Guys used to say, "Stump the Chumps."
We are pleased to launch a new segment at the NFBV24 Convention, "Ask The
President" Town Hall.
This is your chance to get it all out there and ask NFB of Virginia
President Tracy Soforenko and NFB Executive Director for Blindness
Initiatives Anil Lewis those burning questions you have been dying to know
the answer to. Individuals or Chapters can submit 1-3 questions to be asked
of Tracy or Anil during the Town Hall to be conducted on Sunday, November 3.
Questions must be submitted by October 15, and the planning committee will
select the questions that will be used. Questions must be respectful, but
there is nothing wrong with making Tracy blush. A chapter might choose to
discuss potential questions at an upcoming Chapter meeting, and submit up to
3 questions for consideration.
Submission instructions:
* Provide name, e-mail address and phone number for yourself or for
the person willing to ask the questions during the November 3 Town Hall.
* Include the name of the Chapter you are affiliated with.
* Indicate whether the submission is on behalf of the Chapter or an
individual.
* 1-3 well thought out questions. Indicate if the questions is for
Tracy and/or Anil.
* Andrew Barksdale will be compiling questions. Please email your
questions to him by October 15 at andrewcars6 at yahoo.com
<mailto:andrewcars6 at yahoo.com>
You will be contacted prior to the Convention if your question is selected.
On Sunday morning November 3, Annette Carr will moderate the Ask the
President Town Hall, and if your question is selected you will get to ask it
during the session.
