Hey NFB Family and Friends,

 

Please read below for your chance to win big in 50/50 raffle. Please open
your hearts, and wallets, and support Sandy Halverson as she participates in
a walk a thon.

 

Greetings all, 

Do you want to get extra cash for the holidays? The Tidewater Chapter has
your solution.  Starting now and through our state convention, we will be
selling tickets for a 50-50 raffle.  No need to worry about carrying a large
item on the bus home.  The prize is half the cash taken in by the raffle.
Tickets are $5 for one and $10 for three tickets.  The drawing will take
place at the banquet Saturday night, November 2.  (You do not have to be
present to win.)  You can purchase tickets from any Tidewater Chapter member
or if you wish, you can get tickets in advance by sending funds via Zelle to
our Treasurer, Michael Kitchens at Tidewater Chapter Treasurer
(nfbtc at gmail.com <mailto:nfbtc at gmail.com> ).  Let him know your name and
phone number so that we can properly mark your ticket(s). Remember, the more
you buy, the better the chances of winning the money, and the bigger your
potential prize.  So buy early and often!

Hello Fellow Virginia Federationists,

 

Sandy Halverson is participating in the Bay Bridge walk on November 10. The
team from the National Federation of the Blind is raising money for our
organization. 

 

On our most recent Presidential Release Live, President Riccobono announced
end-of-year financial gifts from HumanWare and anonymous donors up to
$100,000. This means that your support of my walk will be doubled which is
truly exciting.

 

The link to donate is below and in the box that asks in whose honor this
donation is given, enter Sandy Halverson. The hope is that each person who
registers will raise a minimum of $300 so please do what you can.
