[NFBV-Announce] Special Announcement Regarding the Convention Hotel

Hello,

 

I'm told some of you have experienced difficulty reserving your room for
convention via phone. The phone number I'd published on the website has been
updated to reflect the central reservation line. When you call, NFB is the
event code, but you can also just tell them you're trying to get a room for
the National Federation of the Blind of Virginia Annual State Convention.

 

If you would rather not reserve a room using the online form, please call:
888-839-1775.

 

If you continue to experience issues, please reply here directly to me, and
I'll get you squared away.

 

Remember, if you are with Project RISE, a scholarship finalist, or a special
guest for whom we are making reservations, please do not make those
reservations directly. I will handle that for you, but please get in touch
at your earliest convenience if you have doubts as to whether I already have
your name.

 

Important: Please do not wait to make your reservation. I just took 16 rooms
off the block for our programming, so between that and the number of people
who have already registered, the inventory will quickly diminish, especially
for Thursday evening.
