Below is a list of upcoming opportunities for federal workers.


National Convention Financial Assistance


The National Federation of the Blind (NFB) is offering financial support to
federal workers impacted by workforce reductions, who are interested in
participating in employment and career development events at our National
Convention.

As the largest gathering of blind people in the world, our National
Convention features a national career fair, jobseeker seminars dedicated to
career exploration, and much more.

Career Development Boot Camp: Virtual Workshops for Federal Workers


Mark your calendars for our upcoming virtual career development series for
federal workers. Hosted by the National Employment Committee in conjunction
with the Blind Government Workers Division, these virtual sessions are
designed to provide information, resources, and support as you continue your
employment journey.

Upcoming Workshops:

*	Career Exploration: Determining Your Employment Path: April 28, 7:00
- 8:30 pm, Eastern via Zoom.
*	Mastering Resume and Cover Letter Writing: May 5, 7:00 - 8:30 pm,
Eastern via Zoom. 
*	Getting Informed: Social Security, Unemployment Insurance,
Vocational Rehabilitation, and More: May 12, 7:00 - 8:30 pm, Eastern via
Zoom.
*	Making Meaningful Connections: Using Linked-in and Other Tools on
the Employment Journey: May 19, 7:00 - 8:30 pm, Eastern via Zoom.
