Hey everyone!
Are you ready to boost your professional game and make a killer first
impression? We've got an amazing event lined up just for you, designed to
build your confidence and help you stand out from your peers! All blind and
low vision high school and college students in Northern Virginia welcomed!
Get ready for a dream team of experts dedicated to help you put your best
foot forward. Think of it as your own personal branding bootcamp!
We'll have a professional photographer ready to capture some stunning
headshots. These aren't your average school photos - we're talking about
images that will make you look and feel incredible, perfect for LinkedIn,
resumes, or any professional platform. We'll work with you to find the
perfect pose so you can showcase your unique personality.
A personal shopping consultant will be on hand to offer personalized
wardrobe tips. They'll help you discover styles that make you feel confident
and comfortable, and offer advice on creating a versatile wardrobe that
works for any occasion. We'll focus on textures, colors, and accessibility
to make sure your clothing choices empower you.
A marketing expert will share invaluable insights on building a strong
social media presence. Learn how to craft a compelling online profile,
network effectively, and showcase your skills and accomplishments. We'll
discuss accessibility features and strategies to help you navigate the
digital world with confidence.
A great headshot, a polished wardrobe, and a strong online presence are
essential tools for anyone entering the professional world. We want to
empower our blind and low vision students with the resources and knowledge
they need to thrive.
When: Saturday, March 8 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
