Hello from your 2025 Action Auction Team, Jacki Brown, Domonique Lawless,
and Renee Valdez!

Just in case you have been on another planet as of late...The NFBV STATE
CONVENTION is fast approaching!  That means, the Action Auction is right
around the corner...and THAT means, we need your kind donations to make this
happen and raise lots of money for our SILVER BELLS PROGRAM! 

The success of the National Federation of the Blind of Virginia (NFBV) is
built on the generosity of our members to contribute time, talents, and
money to our movement. However, if we can make fundraising fun, this is even
better.

The NFB of Virginia will be having an Auction at its state convention in
beautiful Virginia Beach - October 30 - November 2, 2025.  We need good NEW,
HAND-MADE or ANTIQUE ITEMS to auction.   To submit auction items for
consideration, please submit your item using our simple online form:

All you have to do is
DONATE NOW!

Then bring your donated items to the convention.  Auction items can be
dropped off on Thursday evening at registration or on Friday/Saturday during
General Session. Just like our prior in-person conventions there will be a
table set up with the items offered outside the exhibit hall on Friday and
in the meeting room on Saturday and Sunday. On Friday the Action Auction
volunteers will accept items for auction and describe each item to all who
stop by. LIVE AUCTION WILL START FRIDAY MORNING AND GO ON BOTH SATURDAY AND
SUNDAY during general meetings and at the Banquet.

Remember  this is our chance to raise money for Silver BELLS in a fun way 
also a way to buy only previously dreamed of luxuries from our friends.

Please help us support the Silver Bells Program that encourages and supports
independence for blind and low vision seniors. Get your items in TODAY!

Quilt Don't miss your chance to bid on this quilt. It is handcraftred my
Michelle Smith from SNC Quilts. It is made just for the NFB. Measuring 53 X
72, it has our logo in the middle with the stick figures of blind people.
The colors are blue, green, orange and white . At each corner there is one

you back, With love, hope and determination, and Turn your dreams into
reality.

This is the second quilt made especially for us by Michelle Smith from SNC
