We are all in the middle of hustling and bustling to get ready for the NFBV
State Convention

which is closing in on us...FAST!

Your Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee wants to take some of the
pressure off by making

Your Thursday night programming decision a slam dunk! EASY PEASY!

Just head to the MARINER A ROOM around 8:15 p.m. Our exciting, engaging and
highly entertaining program starts at 8:30 p.m.! It’s called –

“Is It Funny…Or Not? When Our Words Cross the Line”

It is all about those times when we stick our big feet in our mouths and
say things that hurt

others—microaggressions!

And don’t you worry your little heads! This will not be your typical
lecture-style workshop!

Noooo sireee! Leave your pens and paper or your Braille notetaker in your
hotel room! All you

need is an open mind, open heart, fun spirit, and the willingness to engage
and participate in

our antics! IMPROV! ROLE PLAY! And honest interactions about this serious
topic and how to

make it better! Learning should be fun! Our personal experiences, coupled
with our workshop

activities will be our teacher!
