The National Federation of the Blind of Virginia Silver BELLS program Is
hosting a Meet & Greet virtual event!

 

Who:     Any Virginian 55 years or older, experiencing vision loss

 

Why:     To learn about a transformative program designed to help you learn
independence skills in a safe place, with people experiencing similar
challenges.

                

                When:   Saturday, January 10, 2026, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Learn about our retreats to be held from February 19-22 in Virginia Beach,
and March 19-22 in Sterling. 

 

This program facilitated by blind and low-vision staff brings together
individuals facing similar challenges in a warm, welcoming and engaging
environment to:

*	Learn independent living, communication, technology, and orientation
& mobility skills
*	Build confidence and regain independence
*	Create connections and community

 

This opportunity is provided free of charge to Virginia residents thanks to
a grant from the Virginia Board for the Blind and Vision Impaired, the
National Federation of the Blind of Virginia, and other generous donors.
