Hello my esteemed NFBV Family!

 

I trust you have already put a BIG STAR on your calendar for Thursday,
January 29th, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.!  Well, congratulations, dear one, because
you are in for a total treat!  A super-duper, fantabulous night of nothing
but FUN AND ADVENTURE!  We are calling it
drum roll please!...

 

ADVENTURE VISIONARIES!

 

Whether your dream adventure is climbing Mount Everest in the spring or
venturing out of your neighborhood for one of those yummy chili dogs at that
food truck on the corner of 5th and Main or changing the channel to BRAVO!
to watch The Real Housewives of Potomac instead of CNN, for once!  Just for
tonight!  Ha, ha!  Whatever your ADVENTURE, come share it with your friends
on the Greater Alexandria Chapter Zoom Call!  Thursday, January 29th at 7:00
p.m.!

 

Here is a sneak peak at our features of the evening!  (Think up a catchy
tune and hum along with this unveiling!)

*	Our very own Sachin DevPavithran will share his (and Conchita
Hernandez's) adventure climbing some really high mountain
oh yeah!  Mount
Kilimanjaro!
*	JAHMIL GARRET BEY, President of VABS, will tell us about his
month-long adventure—YES!  One Month!—in Honduras!  He liked the food so
much, we thought he might decide to stay! Ha, ha!
*	SHANNON KALU will share her adventures navigating a huge and busy
flea market, which can be a daunting task for someone who is blind or low
vision!  YIKES!

We'll talk about being safe while on your adventure and how to prepare!

 

Ok.  You can turn off the music in your head now!

 

I won’t give away all the surprises, except to say
have you heard of “Travel
Eyes”?  (Hint, hint!)
