Hi NFB Family and Friends,

 

On JUNE 27 from 4:00PM - 5:00 PM 

                The Washinton Blind Hockey Team (Celebrating our 10th
Anniversary) will hold a Learn to Skate event at the Washington Medstar
Capital Ice plex  for the Blind and Visually impaired.

                                The Medstar Capitals Ice plex is located on
the 8Th floor of the Ballston Mall (one block from the Ballston Metro
Station)

                The Event is FREE, but I expect there will be a rental fee
if you need to Rent Skates & a helmet.  I suggest you wear a pair of gloves
as well.

                The Ice plex is kept around 45 degrees so dress accordingly 

                All Ages welcome

 

JUNE 28 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM = Family Skate (FREE)

                Everyone (all ages) is welcome to enjoy a free skate hour 

                At the Medstar Capiral Ice Plex on the 8th Floor of the
Ballston Mall, one block from the Ballston Metro Station.

 

                Again, dress for temperatures om the 40's and wear a pair of
gloves.

                Rental skates (and helmets) are available.

Please let anyone planning on attending the June 27th "LEARN TO SKATE"
sponsored by the Washington Blind Hockey Team to be held at the Medstar
Capitals Ice plex (8th Floor of the Ballston Mall) on Saturday June 27th
from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM will need to contact me with their intention to
attend

 

We need to ensure that we have sufficient instructors (accommodating
different age groups) for those attending  

 

No notification required to attend the "Family Skate" session at 10:00 AM to
11:00 AM on Sunday June 28th.
