[NFBV-Announce] What Does Your Friday at Convention Look Like?

Folks,

Instead of telling you that there is “something for everyone” at
convention, let’s make that a little more concrete.

It’s *Friday afternoon, October 23, in Herndon. What are you doing?*

Maybe you’re at *Tools for Independence*, comparing low to high-tech ways
blind people tackle everyday challenges.

Maybe you’re learning *blind tennis* or *blind cricket* hands-on.

Maybe you’re in *Entrepreneurship Unleashed*, hearing from blind
entrepreneurs about building and growing a business.

Maybe you’re exploring the *Exhibit Hall*, open Friday from noon to 6:00
PM, checking out assistive technology, products, services, and community
resources.

Or maybe the session ends up being only half the story because you meet
someone in the hallway, over lunch, or between sessions who has exactly the
experience or information you needed.

And that is just *Friday afternoon*.

Across October 22–25, we’ll have everything from career development and
technology to blindness skills, sports, student activities, programming for
parents and youth, seniors, entrepreneurship, dancing, social events, and
plenty of opportunities to simply spend time with other blind people.

Take a look at the convention information, find what catches your
attention, and start planning your weekend.
