President Carr reported that they recently had an Emergency Preparedness specialist from the Office of Emergency Management of Fairfax County come to speak to their chapter membership and they held an Chapter President Pittman stated thay had a county-wide servicing organizations with individuals with disabilities.<o:p></o:p></b></p><p class=MsoNormal class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto'><b>Greater Alexandria Chapter President Valdez stated that they have teamed up with Seedlings Braille Books for Children to adopt 3-year old Elijah, conducted a Glory Days Grill fundraiser, participated in the Disability Awareness event with the Department of Defense, several chapter members spoke to high school and middle school students at TC Williams and Hammond in Alexandria City, and Arielle Silverman and Susie D’Mello read twin vision books during story time at the library<o:p></o:p></b></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto'><b>Greater Williamsburg Chapter President Jones stated they had their Walk with the Blind and they will be changing their meeting time to Chapter President Harrison stated they had their spaghetti dinner fundraiser and they are planning to hold a toy drive<o:p></o:p></b></p><p class=MsoNormal style='mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto'><b>Potomac Chapter President Halverson stated they had a successful technology fair in June and Arlington County Office of Registrar demoed
