Do you live outside of your paratransit system’s eligibility zone, or do you not have any paratransit option at all?<br>
Does it take you an hour to go five miles using public transportation?<br>
Do you hang out at college all day because of this, even on the days that you only have one class, orpick and choose job interviews/opportunities extremely carefully because of this?<br>
Have you missed out on a job opportunity because despite your best planning, you simply could not get to the interview on time?<br>
Have you missed medical appointments for the same reason, or settled for a doctor, dentist, other specialist, or other service merely because it was local, despite being unhappy with the staff, the service, or both?<br>
Welcome to the land of frustration, missed chances, and yes, sometimes resentment, that such circumstances cause.<br>
The Fairfax Chapter wants to talk with you, hear from you, and work with you to strategize to change this abysmal state of affairs.<br>
In a major metropolitan center, it just should not be this difficult to get to where you need to go in a more efficient, reliable manner.<br>
Join us at our Thursday, February 20, 2025, chapter meeting, via the affiliate Zoom at 7:00 PM to plumb the depths of this transportation travesty, these travel travails, these troublesome trials.<br>
