Additionally, your contributions will go towards providing academic scholarships to blind and low vision college students. Your financial assistance will also go towards offering training of blind persons in the community on how to successfully use smart phones, computers, and Newsline, the talking newspaper operated by the National Federation of the Blind. We provide advocacy for blind seniors. Our chapter helps fund “Silver Bells”, our weekend program to offer newly blind and low vision seniors an introduction of skills to live with sight impairment.
