The FairfaxNFB Chapter has an exciting meeting scheduled for Thursday,
april 18, 2013.
Have you ever wondered what to do in an emergency situation? With the
climate and environment changes, there is always something to know about how
to survive.
Fires? Floods? Earthquakes? and evacuation? - OH MY!
What would you do if you are in a thunderstorm and the area you are in
starts to flood. where would you go? What should you do?
What if you are at home in a snow storm and there is no power. Do you know
what it means to have - shelter in place?
What if you are home alone and you have to evacuate. Could you? Do you
know what you need to take with you? What if you have a pet? What if you
have a guide dog? Can you go anywhere, to any shelter?
Do you know where shelters are located in your area?
Come to the Fairfax NFB Chapter meeting on Thursday, April 18 and have
these questions and many more questions answered.
All are welcome.
