RSVP no later than Tuesday March 28 7:00pm to Annette Carr
Event Date: Saturday April 1, 2017
Event Location Address: Avalon Mosaic Apartments 2987 district Avenue, Fairfax, VA
Event Schedule:

*         Setup: 5:30pm-6:15pm

*         Dinner & Movie:  6:15pm-9:30pm

*         Clean up: 9:30pm-10:00pm

Food: Pizza will be served prior to the start of the movie, and of course there will be popcorn.

Movie: Spare Parts (2015), PG13, running time 1hour 54 minutes
Movie Description: The movie is based on the true story of an underdog high school in Phoenix that entered a robotics competition against M.I.T. and other universities. Like the documentary Underwater Dreams<https://www.commonsensemedia.org/movie-reviews/underwater-dreams> (which tells the same story), the movie explains how the mostly undocumented Mexican-American students managed, against the odds, to excel in a competition that seemingly favored wealthier, more privileged teams.

We look forward to seeing you on Movie Night.
