[NFBV-Fairfax] Is This Thing On? Hello? Can You Hear Me Now?

I only ask because precious few of you have answered our survey. Listen, the usual suspects can just go hang out, play cards, have a drink or two, and commiserate over the lack of survey participation, and then make decisions that please us, and then we will not get to hear your awesome ideas and your feedback.
We’ll do the whole make a motion, second it, vote, decide what’s important and what to do about it for blind Virginians in Fairfax, and who knows? We’ll totally underestimate the importance of something, or completely overestimate the significance of something else, and then you’ll be all: “Why the heck aren’t they doing something about this” or “Don’t they realize they should be putting energy into that?” and we’ll be scratching our heads, fiddling with our cane straps, or scratching our dog guides’ heads saying: “Well, why didn’t they answer our survey? Why aren’t they coming to meetings?”
So . . . to avoid all those possibilities of misdirected energy, wasted time, and squandered resources, please take yourself right on over to the link below and help us reinforce our foundation for a vibrant active chapter that gets things done and has fun doing it.
