Board Meeting: call to order 4:04 PM

Constitution waiting for state approval
Funds are still in the old account
We are waiting on constitutional approval for a new tax ID, because the current one is out of date, before a new tax ID can be generated, we need an updated document.

 
May 11 board meeting: Four chapter members will attend the leadership seminar after the board meeting.
Ameenah will be graduating from seminary this weekend; congratulations.
A question was asked by someone who had not read the Constitution about whether the changes regarding membership suspension or expulsion would create a situation where if a board member did not like someone, the person could be summarily dismissed. 
There were assurances and the individual was told the Constitution would be sent to him. 
Christine will be attending national convention from the 3rd through the 6th
Potomac chapter is holding an auction on June 1; Christine will resend information. Anything provided for the auction by a Fairfax Chapter member and sold will be attributed to the Fairfax chapter.
Financial assistance to national convention is still available, but the application period is closing soon.

John Bailey will discuss his recent travels in Europe.
