The next meeting of the Fairfax chapter of the national Federation of the blind  will be held on 
Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M at:

3:00 PM: Welcome
Grab a seat, and try to be prepared with what you would like to order. There is a link to the menu on the RSVP form. I will send a link in a separate email as well.
After orders are placed:
Minutes and Trasurer Reports
During the time set aside for the Treasurer’s report, all board members will be asked to sign their names so that the bank has a copy of the current officers.
Even though we will soon have elections, the bank needs to know who is currently serving.
If you are a board member and are not going to be present, please let me know so that we can arrange as soon as possible for you to sign so that we can open our bank account.
New Member Greetings:
If you are attending our chapter meeting for the first time, we would love to hear something about you. No pressure, though. 
Blindness Equality Achievement Month:
On October 14, 2024, (Monday, Indigenous Peoples Day) there is an opportunity for you to join a group of Northern Virginia Federationists at Skyline House for a Meet the Blind Month activity.
State convention:
Who is going? Who has registered? Who needs help registering? 
Transportation and other logistics will be discussed, depending on time. 
Our next meeting will be via Zoom on Thursday, October 17, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.
We will be holding elections in November, and we will discuss nominations.
