Hello all.
I would love to have some of you join me for the below, which is made possible with the cooperation of my condo complex’s Activities Committee. The room will be made available to us starting at 1:00 so that we can set up whatever we like. I am never sure how many will show up: could be three, could bbe 25. Either way, we’ll have fun.
We could always send folks down to the lobby to entice people. :)
I have two print/Braille books, one on the sun, and one about basketball.
If anyone who can make it can bring another book or two, that would be great. the main focus is kids five to ten, but we are hoping for involvement of people of all ages.
If you can make it, let me know; I’ll send you the address, and we’ll meet up beforehand. I also would like to set up a brief Zoom meeting to plan strategically, so that we are not just winging it, but have a bit of a planned “curriculum,” as it were.
Afterwards, we could order in food, or walk over to Olive Garden, Longhorn Steakhouse, Buffalo Wild Wings, District Taco, Dairy Queen, or any number of other local establishments for some food and fellowship.
. . whatever, just to hang out and extend the Blindness Awareness. :)

Christine
