It is not to late to volunteer.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>This is a remarkable opportunity!!! The program begins on Monday, August 11, and runs through August 22. your services are welcomed and needed during this two-week program. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>CHAPTER MEMBERS, WE CAN HELP MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!!!<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>The </span>Northern Virginia Braille Enrichment for Literacy and Learning (BELL) Program<span style='color:#1F497D'> will be held </span> at Saint George’s Episcopal Church from Monday, August 11 through Friday, August 22<span style='color:#1F497D'>. </span>This year, we will have <span style='color:#1F497D'>6 </span>children ranging in age from almost 4 to 1<span style='color:#1F497D'>2</span> years of age. As with all of the NFB BELL Programs, volunteers, including blind adult role models, are key to the success and learning of students. Volunteers provide one-on-one support to students in support of the lessons taught by the teacher of blind students, Gillian Pilcher.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>If you enjoy working with children and wish to support their learning efforts during BELL, we can use your assistance, whether for an hour or two, one day or the entire two weeks of the Program.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Listed below, is a sampling of volunteer activities.
