Fairfax Chapter meeting continues this tradition.</DIV>

style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt"> and she will tell us all we will need to know

Doherty</FONT></SPAN></I></B><SPAN

Metro’s team of travel trainers in 2008. She is a Certified Orientation and
Mobility Specialist (COMS) and holds a Master’s Degree in Special Education. In
addition to providing one-on-one and small group orientations to Metro customers
who are blind or have low vision, Brigid serves as Metro’s liaison to the
blindness community, providing extensive outreach to consumer groups and
professional organizations.</FONT></SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 8pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 12pt"><SPAN
style="FONT-FAMILY: ; LINE-HEIGHT: 13pt"><FONT face="Times New Roman"><FONT
style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt">Prior to coming to WMATA Brigid worked with the Virginia
Department for the Blind and Vision Impaired in Fairfax, with the Blind Babies
Foundation in in San Francisco and coordinated the Students with Disabilities
Union in Portland, Oregon. Her work in the disability field spans 23 years.
Brigid lives in Fairfax County in close proximity to her large, extended
family.</FONT></FONT></SPAN></P>
