The Historic Fredericksburg Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of Virginia will have its monthly meeting this Saturday, June 17, at 10:00 in the Central Rappahannock Regional Library, 1201 Caroline Street. This will be the meeting which precedes our national convention next month which at least four of our chapter members will attend from July 10 through July 15. Among other things, all of us want to give them a good send off and wish them well. Although not every meeting can always be brimming with excitement, consistent attendance is vitally important to the foundation and growth of our chapter. Everyone is most cordially invited and welcome. This could be a wonderful opportunity for us to begin thinking about and planning at least one event for October, which is Meet the Blind month.

Please remember, your president does not plan the entire agenda. There is a section called New Business. As discussed during previous meetings, if you have something you specifically want on the agenda, please let me know before the meeting, and do not hesitate to remind me if you think I forgot.
