HISTORIC FREDERICKSBURG CRIER August 14th

 

Guten tag – I hope this Crier finds you and yours enjoyinggood health during this wacky time we find ourselves in. We can only hope thatpeople act in good faith and respect others by beingsmart and careful aroundother folks. A safe and effective vaccine would also help. Let us pray for anend to all of this.

     Sue and I were inRichmond during our June meeting and she has no minutes from that meeting.Since there was no July meeting, there are no July minutes.

     The treasurer’sreport follows. Please note that we have automatic $10. And $50. Deductionsgoing to the state and national NFB offices each month. While the cupboard isnot bare, we have not been able to run our usual fund raiser to build theavailable funds. We have had several donations, we could use some more. If youknow of a church or civic group that supports organizations like ours, pleaseapproach them and ask for a donation. That is what many groups want to do.There are also individuals who would love to support groups in their communitylike ours. Give people like these a chance to donate by asking.
