call/meeting was called to order by Brittany Ingram, vice president at 7:00
P.M. on Thursday, October 17.<span>  </span>This will
count as the October meeting because of a 50</span>^{<span style="font-size: small;" data-mce-style="font-size: small;" size="2">th</span>}<span style="font-size: medium;" data-mce-style="font-size: medium;" size="3"> anniversary program
at the Center in Mechanicsville.</span></span></p><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;" data-mce-style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;" face="Times New Roman" size="3">

Laurie, Hannah, Ray, Jessica, Isaiah and Tracy Soforenko.<span>  </span>Brittany began by asking who plans to attend
the State Convention; the list includes Brittany, Jessica, Holly, Jodi, Sue and
Dick, and Laurie, Hannah and Ray Wages.</span></span></p><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;" data-mce-style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;" face="Times New Roman" size="3">

table for fundraising.<span>  </span>After some
discussion, most people agreed it is too late to plan anything for this year
and we should endeavor to work toward a fundraiser or raffle item for next
year.<span>  </span>Tracy mentioned the convention
agenda has been emailed and published.<span> 
</span>If anyone has an item to auction off or give as a doorprize, they can be
dropped off at registration.<span>  </span>Jessica
indicated she has some braille childrens’ books which also could be taken to
the parents’ book swap.</span></span></p><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;" data-mce-style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;" face="Times New Roman" size="3">

Brittany, and Jessica; the question was asked whether or not anyone else
planned to ride the bus.<span>  </span>There were no
other responses.</span></span></p><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;" data-mce-style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;" face="Times New Roman" size="3">

Chapter membership coordinator whose duties will consist of consolidating new
member information so all chapters are aware of new members.<span>  </span></span></span></p><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;" data-mce-style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;" face="Times New Roman" size="3">

</span><p class="yiv5619069800MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;" data-mce-style="font-family: Calibri;" face="Calibri"><span style="font-size: medium;" data-mce-style="font-size: medium;" size="3">Next on the agenda was election of officers.<span>  </span>Tracy Soforenko thanked the Nominating
Committee for their work on the slate of officers to be elected.<span>  </span>They are as follows:<span>  </span>Brittany Ingram, President; Jessica Reed,
Vice President; Dick Byrne, Treasurer; Sue Byrne, Secretary; Chris Errman and
Holly Frisch, Board Members.<span>  </span>As each
position was called, Tracy asked three times if there were any further
nominations.<span>  </span>After each one a motion was
made and seconded to elect by acclimation. Next two people were elected to
serve on the Board of Directors.<span> 
</span>Brittany was elected as our delegate and Jessica was elected as
alternate.<span>  </span>Tracy expressed pleasure in
handling the election; Brittany thanked him and indicated she is looking
forward to seeing him at the convention.</span></span></p><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;" data-mce-style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;" face="Times New Roman" size="3">

Saturday of the month at the usual time (10:00 Am to Noon) in the usual
conference room.<span>  </span>One item on the agenda
for that meeting is whether or not to have a December meeting/holiday
get-together.<span>  </span>Tracy Soforenko is
scheduled to speak at the January meeting to include suggestions on how to
boost membership in the Chapter.</span></span></p><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;" data-mce-style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;" face="Times New Roman" size="3">
