Potomac chapter,

Quite aware that this is last minute notice however, in all my wisdom I completely mistook the dates of the meeting!
My apologies.

In case anyone sees this and is able to contribute at tonight’s chapter meeting:

We are collecting material donations for youth programs in the DC/VA/MD area. Donations will go toward supplies for various activities such as Braille Challenge, BELL (Braille Education, Literacy and Learning), and other activities with NFB and DC school district throughout the year.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Below is a list of items we are needing.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Emptied egg cartons,
Paper products: Paper towels,
Napkins,
Paper plates, bowls, or other,
Plastic cups, silverware, or other,
Measuring cup sets,
measuring spoon sets,
Poster boards, cardboard poster boards,
Anything that is usable for any kind of crafts,  (no pencils or crayons.)
Audible balls of any kind,
Regular tennis balls,
Slate and styluses,
Braille writers,
Canes.

This was a real quick list. If there are other items you have that you think may be usable for activities shoot me an email, text or call and I’ll let you know whether we’ll take it.

Bring what you have to the chapter meeting and we’ll take it from there!

If you don’t have materials to donate but would like to make a financial contribution so we can buy more materials, we will always very much appreciate that as well.
