[NFBV-Potomac-Announce] Last Day to register for the National Federation of the Blind 2020 National Convention

A reminder that this is the final day of registration for the  2020 National Federation of the  Blind convention.


The NFB's annual convention is the biggest event in the United States (or the world) for the blind, of the blind, and by the blind.  It's a big undertaking, but there is nothing more educational or more empowering to a long-time blind person, a newly blind person or a blind youth than attending an NFB convention!



The convention was originally scheduled to be in Houston this July, but has been move to a virtual venue because of coronavirus concerns. The good news is that means all of us can attend this year!

Best of all, it's free! So not only are there no travel costs, hotel expenses, or overpriced restaurants to budget for, there's not even a registration fee!

The convention dates are July 14 to 18. yes, there will be a banquet address on the evening of July 18, so you can get all dressed up and grill up some steaks or order Door Dash from the fanciest place in town.
