All, heads up: This is very important for those of you who are currently sticking with the virtual meeting. The affiliate link will *not* be available the second Wednesday of the month at 7:00, which was the favored time and date for those who weighed in last week. St. George’s has made the changes to their calendar. If we are going to proceed with hybrid meetings (again, favored as per our recent survey), we will need to use a different Zoom account. This may mean that if you have saved the information to call in or link automatically, you will need to change/delete this information.
Please take the time to do that before I send out next week’s agenda next Sunday or Monday with different Zoom information.
Please also let me know by this Friday whether you would like time to address the chapter. 
Remember, too, that October 7 is the final day to sign up for the bonfire and hayride event at Butler’s Orchard. This is a fun-raiser, not a fund-raiser. Let’s gather, and celebrate autumn, as well as Blind Equality Achievement Month.

Convention registration: If you have not yet registered, and you plan to attend the state convention in person, take advantage of the substantially subsidized registration fee which will jump on October 11. The price is $30, and includes most meals (breakfast option only on Sunday), a Hospitality Night that will top all before it, thanks to the Greater Alexandria Chapter, the potential to win $100 in a drawing for early registrants, and the knowledge that you saved some extra money for the auction, an increase to your PAC contribution (or the start of one), or something for one or two cups of Starbucks coffee (maybe 1.5). :)
