Hello Friends and Colleagues,

At our last meeting, Karin Jernberg offered to provide information about Covid-19 accessible kits and her results are below. Thank you very much, Karin for this info we will be happy to have, particularly if or when the need arises.

Subject: Accessible COVID tests and other resources

In the October presidential release President Riccobono gave information about how to order free accessible COVID tests.

They can be ordered online at
acl.gov/accessibletests

To order by phone dial 1-800-232-0238. The accessible test option is at prompt number 8.

Another resource is the
ACL Disability Access Hotline
1 (888) 677-1199.

You can call this hotline to order the accessible COVID tests and also for help in administering and interpreting the test.

This is a federally funded National hotline that assists seniors and individuals with disabilities by referring them to programs and agencies in their local communities which might be helpful with their specific needs.
