Candidate Forum Events October 8th and October 22nd
for Arlington & Alexandria City

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Arlington, Virginia - September 14, 2023 - The League of Women Voters of Arlington and Alexandria City (LWV AAC), the American Association of University Women (AAUW), and the Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy (VICPP) cordially invite you to attend our 'Candidating' event on Sunday, 8 October, 2:30-5:00pm and our 'Candidating' event on Sunday, 22 October, 2:30-5:00pm. Both events will take place at the Walter Reed Community Center; 2909 16th Street South; Arlington, VA.

'Candidating' is our popular engagement format that allows voters to interact directly with individual candidates in small groups. We are having two events:

(1) Sunday, 8 October, 2:30-5:00pm is for Arlington County Board, Arlington County School Board, and Arlington County offices (contested and uncontested).

(2) Sunday, 22 October, 2:30-5:00pm is for General Assembly (contested and uncontested) races in Senate and House districts spanning Arlington and Alexandria (Senate 39, Senate 40; House districts 1-5).
