Hi All,
We're so excited for this event. Below is an update and also an invitation for you to collaborate to the extent that you're interested.
As background, we're confirmed to be holding the event in the afternoon of October 20th. The event is being sponsored by nine of Arlington's Employee Resource groups, which are employee groups spanning a variety of experiences (race/ethnicity, disability, generational and religious groups, etc.). They are united in their interest in highlighting the impact of intersectionality on our lived experiences. Doors will open about an hour prior to the screening and the venue has a long entry/hallway. We'd love to set up tables along the hallway and at entrance points for various groups to provide information or materials, and partner blind and non-blind pairs to act as talking signage. We're hoping that each table can have a discrete focus, whether it's information on navigating public education as a parent of a child with a disability, resources for independent travel, interacting with someone using a cane, or something else entirely.
What we need from you is to know:
1. Would your organization like to have a table? If so let us know the name of your organization/chapter and who will come for your organization.
2. Do you need any volunteers from Arlington to support? We can work with our ERG's to solicit volunteers, so let us know if so how many you would need.
3. Could you identify one or two areas that your table would focus on?
With the deadline approaching quickly, we're hoping to get responses from everyone in the next week, so if you could respond by September 20th we'll use that to inform our next steps.
Best,
Alyssa

I have attached the flyer that we are sharing at the library. Please feel free to share as you see fit. If you want to tag the library, please use the following accounts and let me know. I will be sure to let our marketing/ communications team that you have tagged them.
