Good evening members and friends. Thank you, Patty, for including our proposed chapter Constitution amends language; these were read and discussed at our September meeting so tomorrow, they will be read again and voted either up or down.

Topics which should not take long to discuss include our state convention bus, accessing and downloading the agenda, and other information our affiliate president, Tracy Soforenko, may wish to share.

Our chapter presidential release will provide information about happenings around the country which we need to know about.

There are a couple program items to consider for future meetings.

We are always glad to have new people join us to learn what we do and work with us to make things better.

You can RSVP tomorrow night for our chapter picnic on Sunday. If the weather is nice, we'll be outside and if we get too wet from rain, we'll go inside! Thank you to those who are bringing a variety of dishes and to others who are contributing to the cost of the burgers and hotdogs. Our grill was recently cleaned and is in perfect working order and we're happy to put it to use!

Below are the walking directions to the metro, and the Zoom link, password, and phone access methods.

I look forward to being with you tomorrow at 7 at the church or virtually.

Walking instructions from the Virginia Square Metro Stop to the Church

As you leave the Virginia Square escalator, turn 180 degrees and walk to Fairfax Drive. Turn left and walk to Nelson Street. Cross Nelson with Fairfax on your right and even though Nelson has little traffic, there is a traffic signal at this intersection. After crossing Nelson Street, continue for an additional block with Fairfax Drive on your right, you will reach Oakland Street. Turn left on Oakland Street and take an almost immediate left in to a small parking lot. Knock on the door and someone will let you in the Church.

Note, if you are coming by car to the meeting, let the driver know that the door you want is labeled 1 and is next to a mailbox.
