Greetings Fellow Chapter Members
I hope that this email finds you all in great spirits. I am writing to
finalize the costs, menu, and date of the holiday dinner. As previously
reported, the holiday dinner will take place on Monday, December 11, 2017 at
Mama J's Restaurant. We will be dining in the banquet hall and the address
for this is 101 E. Clay St, Richmond, VA 23219.
There has been a lot of dialogue between Gerald, the event coordinator, the
restaurant, and I due to pricing and menu availability. After many phone
calls, emails, and input from you all, the menu has finally been set and the
facts of it are below:
Time: 6pm-8:30pm
Price per person: $25
Menu: Fried Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy,
Collard Greens, Corn Muffins, Apple Cobbler, Lemonade, Water.
If someone decides that they want to purchase a separate beverage, the
restaurant requests that you place it at the restaurant and they will supply
you with it. This price per person is firm and the reservation has been made
for exactly the amount of people that signed up with me. If you have not
spoken with me prior to this email, then your name is not on the list and
there will not be food available for you.
Also, we have volunteers to serve the food at the dinner. The brothers of
Alpha Phi Omega, Inc. have been gracious enough to assist in that task.
Please show them and the JC drivers that attend your gratitude. The payments
for each person that registered should be paid to Mark Roane by the upcoming
November chapter meeting on November 27, 2017. If you have any questions,
feel free to email or call me. I look forward to hanging out with you at the
dinner and the meeting.
Thanks
