Greetings Everyone

What a wonderful meeting we had last night. It was so inspiring to connect
with all of you and it was therapeutic given that October is a rough month
for me. I wanted to update you on our findings about the restaurant that was
chosen for the holiday dinner/party.

Unfortunately, it does not look like we will be able to go with Hardshell we
selected. According to Gerald, they do have the date available to host us,
but they have a nonnegotiable bottom line of $1500 for a group. Seeing as
none of us can eat that much food, I don't think that this would be best. I
have advised Gerald to look further for more restaurants and we have
contacted Momma Jay's. They have informed us that they do indeed have the
date of December 5 and December 11 open. Their bottom line is $350, and it
is buffet style. We would have to select from a menu what we would want, but
judging from the 12 votes we had for the last restaurant, if we met the
minimum price for our meal we would be looking at $29.17. This is not
including the fact that the chapter every year sponsors the JC drivers that
have helped us all year by buying their dinner. With that group included,
the price drops significantly per person. Furthermore, with this option, we
choose our meal and the combination of items we want. What I mean by this is
we must meet $350, but each meat, starch, vegetable, drink, and dessert
items have a price to nourish our group. We take the prices of all the
options we want and create a package that will be our dinner. This could
mean that we could do as little variety as possible and make it stretch to
$350 to meet our minimum or we can get happy and select more options which
will make a price go higher than that.

If Momma Jay's is a restaurant you are interested in, let me know in this
email thread by hitting "reply all" as soon as possible. There is a small
window of opportunity with this location because they book extremely fast.
We do have a banquet hall which is separate from the restaurant and we don't
have to choose the food options this minute. We just need to reserve the
spot. Please let me know what you think.

Thanks
