Good evening everyone,

 

I am looking forward to seeing you all at the Walk with the Blind event this
Saturday in Carytown.

 

At our last chapter meeting, Domonique Lawless appointed me to chair our
nominating committee for our chapter elections.  I am very grateful that
Carlos Williams and Becky Keller have agreed to serve with me on this
committee.

 

We will nominate candidates for the following positions:

 

President, currently held by Domonique Lawless

First Vice President currently held by Jimmy Morris

Second Vice President currently held by Portia Baskerville

Secretary, currently held by Earl Everett

Treasurer, currently held by Mark Roane

Board Position 1, currently held by Liz Choy

Board Position 2, currently held by Chimere Roberts

Richmond Chapter Representative to the State Board meetings, currently held
by Jeanette Gholson

 

I will be contacting the current Board members to see who is interested in
maintaining their current positions.  Additionally, if you as a Richmond
chapter member are interested in being considered for a Board position,
please let Becky, Carlos, or me know by this Friday, October 21.  The
committee will meet on Sunday to determine the slate of officers we will
recommend at the chapter meeting next Monday, October 24.  Here is the
