Good Morning Everyone!

 

I pray this email finds you well and in good spirits.

 

You are invited to attend an online concert Sunday, February 28th at 6:00 pm in honor of Black History Month given by Angela Hill, Pianist and Sharon Welch, cellist.  The concert will be captioned and audio described.  It is an interactive multi media concert which will be streamed on Facebook as well as on Zoom.  The link for the Zoom is by invitation only because it is limited capacity.  For people with profound vision loss or blind, the capacity is 20 and first come, first served.  So please share to your respective club members.  If anyone who is blind or has profound vision loss that needs audio description plans to attend, please reply how many from your respective clubs plan to attend by Saturday at 5:00 p.m.

 

Angela Hill has a profound hearing loss and now wears cochlear implants, so she was able to return to playing the piano.  She also has vision loss. Sharon Welch is her former student.  

 

Access Virginia is delighted to be able to provide accommodations for this concert.  Those with vision loss or who are blind will be put into a Zoom room to be able to access audio descriptions. The concert is slated to last about 45 minutes.

 

Please disseminate this invitation to your club members and remind to reply if they plan to attend.  I've also attached a flier.  I look forward to hearing from you!
