[NFBV-Winchester] All hands on deck white cane awareness day October 15

Hello Chapter members and friends,
As y'all know it is Blind quality achievement month along with white cane awareness day on October 15, 2024.
I will speak to the Lions club at their meeting at the Moose Lodge. Afterwards they will be heading down to the walking mall in front of the war memorial museum with a table set up to bring awareness about white cane awareness day.
I will be providing white canes For those who are attending and bringing awareness. Wayne will have his dog and some brochures on hand.
They are also willing to support the selling of our raffle tickets for the college scholarships. We are asking that all Chapter members who can attend on October 15 which is Tuesday from 1:30 to 4:30 PM.


Of course, if you can attend the meeting since I will be talking about the white cane. Lunch begins at 11:30 AM and I will start speaking around 12:15 PM.
