convention. I'm forwarding the rules of the game here. I'll send out our
list of of words as well as the rest of the participating information

Hi Wayne,



I hope all is well with you, your family, and your Chapter.  I am looking
forward to seeing you and your Chapter members at Convention.



I wanted to touch base to see if your Chapter has any questions about how
to sign-up and/or play the Chapter Connections Challenge.  As you know it
is the first time, we are trying this, so I’m sure there are questions.
Feel free to reach out.



Here are the instructions for signing up and how to play in case you did
not see them on the Affiliate list.  There is even a practice challenge.



How to sign-up

If two or more Chapter members are attending the Convention in person, then
don’t delay, sign-up today to play the NFBV Chapter Connections Challenge!
All you need to do to sign-up is:



·       select a Chapter member to be the primary Chapter point of contact
with the Challenge coordinators.

·       register your Chapter with an e-mail that contains --

o   The subject line of “Chapter Connections Challenge”.

o   In the body of the message provide your Chapter’s representative name,
their phone number and e-mail address, and the name of your Chapter.

·       Send the e-mail to Annette Carr at amcarr1 at verizon.net by 11:59pm
on Friday, October 18.



How it works…

1.      Appoint a representative from your Chapter, and sign-up your
Chapter on or before October 18.

2.      Chapter representative picks up their Chapter’s list of eight words
at Convention registration.

3.      Find members from other Chapters and share your words with them.

4.      Ask everyone you meet if they are a participating Chapter and if
they will share a word from their list.

5.      Once your Chapter has collected the complete list of eight words
for a participating Chapter, your Chapter members need to put their heads
together and figure out which four words have a connection, and what the
connection is.

6.      Keep track of your answer.

7.      Once your Chapter has collected the word list from all
participating Chapters and you have figured out the connection for each
Chapter’s word list, submit your answers no later than the end of the
banquet on Saturday night.

8.      Attend the final Convention session on Sunday morning to find out
if your Chapter was the first Chapter to submit the greatest number of
correct connections.
