Subject: [nfbwatlk] Celebrating Louis Braille's Birthday
Hello All,
Well, now that most of us are out from under the worst of the snow it
is time to remember that the celebration of Louis Braille's birthday
is just a week away. We need to let people know about our book fair at
the Barnes & Noble in downtown Seattle. We also need people ready to
spend time at the information table. We will be giving away
information about the Louis Braille coin, writing names in braille for
kids and adults, reading from the new J.K. Rowlin's story Beattle the
Bard and basically having a presence at the store. I need people to
let me know when they can be at the table for 2 to 3 hour shifts
(ha!). Attached is the flyer in a word document. PLEASE pass this
around. If you have the ability to print up copies and give them out,
please do this. The only way the chapter and affiliate will make money
is if people say that they are supporting the NFBW when they check
out.
Thank you in advance for all your help and support. Let's make this an
event to be remembered!
