Hey folks,
The "election stuff" is reachable by pressing #2 from the main menu,
which is the "state information channel." The menu for elections
material is the first item in the sub-menu at the state information
channel. Of course, there is no individual state material there, i.e.
voters' pamphlet stuff for Washington State, but all the national
presidential material can be reached from there.

Attention NFB-NEWSLINE(r) Subscribers:
Once again, you can turn to NFB-NEWSLINE(r) for the
information you need to make the decisions that
affect your life. In addition to selecting where
you will dine on Saturday night, determining what
changes need to be made to your financial
portfolio in this turbulent market, and deciding
if your local team deserves your continued
support, you can use this service to help make
your choice for United States president. We have
made available for your review a wealth of
information about the presidential candidates and
their running mates. By extracting content
directly from their Web sites and placing this
unaltered data on the NFB-NEWSLINE(r) service, we
have made it easy for you to get the information
you need to help make an informed choice.
In most states, these materials are available by
selecting option number two (your local channel)
from the main menu. If your state does not
provide this content, you can still access this
important information by navigating to Kansas by
selecting five from the main menu. You'll then
hear, along with the local newspapers and AP
articles, channels that contain the candidate's
information. The Web site content for each
candidate has been placed for easy reference in
separate folders as follows (excepting local
voting information): Election Barack Obama,
Election Joe Biden, Election John McCain, Election Sarah Palin.
Note: The material contained in these folders is
solely the responsibility of the candidates; the
National Federation of the Blind does not
officially endorse any political party and has no
opinion on the content provided.
