That probably looks awful.
Does anyone have any hints for when the laster skinniest section is stuck
out and won't go back in, even when you smash it down as hard as you can?

Subject: [nfbwatlk] Hint for Telescoping Cane Maintenance
Hello, Everyone,
As some of you know, I love to hit the tip of my cane on the ground to
telescope it. Often the twist method doesn't work. Well, obviously, this
method is hard on the top and inevitably, it breaks. The
solution---------electrical tape wound around the top. It is smooth and not
irritating to the hand. I now have two "fixed" canes which should last a
long time, barring any door-cracking accidents.
