[nfbwatlk] Who Would Have Ever Dreamed?

Here it is the week before Thanksgiving, the Apple Cup is next weekend, and 
all three major football teams in Washington--Huskies, Cougars, 
Seahawks--have exactly three wins, combined, all year! Between that, the 
Mariners, and the dearly departed Sonics, has there ever been a sports year 
this bleak in these environs? Certainly not in my remembrance. As the song 
says, things can only get better. Can't they?
